CORRECTION
On page 3 of the May 12, 2011 edition of the Observer West we published a photograph captioned ‘Thank You’.
We wish to advise that the yam weighing 55 pounds — a gift from Mr John Casey — was presented to the Jamaica Christian School for the Deaf and not to the Caribbean School for the Deaf, as was stated. Also, the school is located in Lethe, Hanover and not Granville, St James and that the donation was made at the Westgate Shopping Centre in Montego Bay.
Mr Casey and his wife Ann in collaboration with businesswoman Neena Chandiramani have been making timely donations to the centre.
We regret the errors and apologise for any inconvenience caused.
