eZines, PSOJ partner in electronic magazine venture
THE Private Sector Organisation of Jamaica (PSOJ) has partnered with eZines Limited to produce its electronic magazine, The Private Eye.
The new electronic magazine will be distributed free of cost to the thousands of individuals associated with the PSOJ, said the organisation in a press statement on Friday.
“The Private Sector Organisation of Jamaica is committed to keeping our members informed n the most concise and effective manner. Our primary responsibility in the PSOJ is to our members and this publication seeks to highlight the work of the organisation on behalf of our members while also featuring their products, services and programmes,” PSOJ CEO Sandra Glasgow stated in the Private Eye.
The inaugural issue of The Private Eye focuses on the PSOJ’s social intervention program Youth Upliftment Through Employment (YUTE).
This is an initiative that was spearheaded by the PSOJ involving a coalition of private sector interests that zeroes in on some of the root causes of violence and youth employment through an aggressive two-year pragmatic approach to addressing the issues of unattached youth,” said PSOJ President Joseph Matalon in his message.
Tyrone Wilson, CEO of eZines, said the company is honored to form a partnership with an association such as the PSOJ.
The partnership with the PSOJ is part of the company’s recently launched eZines service, aimed at meeting demand for companies wanting to communicate with their clients in a non-intrusive manner.
“The aim of eZines is to deliver communication channels that are cost-efficient and beneficial for our clients,” Wilson said.
In addition to the PSOJ, other eZines include the National Commercial Bank’s clickSME, which is delivered to NCB’s SME clients as well as to any small business operator or young entrepreneur who needs a consistent source of vital information for his company’s growth.
Wilson added that the Internet is revolutionising the way businesses engage and transact with their commercial audiences. Therefore, developing an informative and visually appealing eZine that is distributed effectively, changes regularly, and encourages subscribers to keep reading will definitely be an asset to any organisation.
