Dwight Thomas in 110m hurdles final

DWIGHT THOMAS will be the sole Jamaican in the final of the men’s 100 metres hurdles after Richard Phillips and Andrew Riley failed to advance from the semi-finals at World Athletics Championships in Daegu, South Korea today.
Phillips finished seventh in the first semi in a time of 13.76 seconds. Meantime in the second semi, Thomas in 13.57 edged out Dongpeng Shi of China who ran just 0.01 slower, to qualify as one of the two fastest times.
However, Riley was last in 13.75.
The final will be run today at 7:25 am Jamaican time.
