Cali P heads to Europe
INSPIRED Music Concepts recording artiste Cali P will head back to Europe this week to do a six-gig tour in Europe.
“There is a lot of interest in Cali P right now in Europe especially since his new single D’Sunne Schiint reached No1 on iTunes Swiss reggae song charts the day it was released and was also No 1 on iTunes German video charts,” a release from the artiste’s management team said.
The single held the number one position for two days before settling into the top ten on the Swiss reggae song charts.
Cali P heads to Europe this week, and will complete his tour on October 1 with a gig in Annecy, France.
He has been making major moves on the international reggae market since the release of his Like A Lion (Hot Steppa) single which was produced by Phantom.
The song is being used as the soundtrack for a documentary feature film of the same name about seven-time ESPN X-Games gold medallist, Tanner Hall.
The artiste completed a six-week European tour to promote Unstoppable, one of his two albums which are to be released this year. The other album, a roots-rock-influenced effort, is called Musi-Cali Speaking and will be released in the fall.
Locally, the Like a Lion (Hot Steppa) and No Time singles are still enjoying good rotation on radio.
