Ja to make presentation at FIFA seminar in Mexico
FIFA has selected Jamaica’s coaching development programme as a case sample and model and the Jamaican delegation to the FIFA-organised seminar for general secretaries and technical directors from CONCACAF is expected to make a presentation.
The four-day event, which starts tomorrow and will run through to Friday, will have presentations on topics in the technical areas of women’s football, grassroots development, coaching development and youth development, and Jamaica is expected to be represented in this area by technical director, Brazilian professor Walter Gama.
In the area of administration, there will be presentations on topics on event management, office communication, communication with the media and management of the member association, and general secretary Horace Reid will attend for the federation.
According to a release frome the JFF, the aim of the seminar is to improve the co-operation and communication between general secretaries and technical directors “in the execution of the administration and technical functions of the federations”.
