Little Miami seek third straight win
MONTEGO BAY, St James — Little Miami will go after their third straight win this afternoon when they take on Melbourne FC in a St James FA Senior League match at Westgreen, starting at 3:30 pm.
Little Miami have gotten the season off to a flying start, winning their first two games without conceding a goal and lead Zone A with six points, while Melbourne FC have a single point from their one game, a 1-1 draw against North Gully Ambassadors last week.
After losing in the finals to Fogo United last season and missing out on promotion to the Western Confederation Super League, Little Miami start favourite to go all the way this season.
Also in Zone A today, Mountain Villa and Rosemount Gardens will both be seeking their first win when they meet at Wyndham field.
Mountain Villa have a point while Rosemount, last season’s Division Two champions, were beaten in their only game by Little Miami.
The lone Zone B game today will see Granville City making their first appearance of the season, taking on Salt Spring Roses at the Sam Sharpe Teachers College grounds.
