Valiant and Mavado team up for ‘Big Blessings’

Talented music producer Keno4Star is generating major props for his latest bass-heavy hit song, Big Blessings, a superstar team-up between Mavado’s Gullyside and Valiant’s Diplomats camp.

The song is also co-produced by successful Billboard-charting producer Justus Arison of JA Productions. The lyrics focus on success, reflecting on the artistes’ journey from humble beginnings in the “garrison” to achieving wealth, mansions in the hills, and “million dollar” status.

“From a production standpoint, the song was co-produced by Justus and myself, and that alone is a big blessing because we’re family. I want to big up Jay Crazie for creating the beat. I wanted it to feel modern while still being rooted in authentic dancehall, and he delivered big time,” Keno4Star, chief executive officer of Keno4Star Production, said.

Directed by Damaniac Visualz, the music video was premiered alongside the song’s release in early March. Since then, the grimy visuals for the club banger has generated 522,000 views since its release over a week ago.

Production Keno4Star is one of the fastest rising young talents on the dancehall scene.

Critics have hailed the high production value of the track and fans have raved about the video concept while describing the song as “vintage Mavado,” marking a strong return for the Gullyside artiste in 2026. Keno4star lauded the camera skills and acumen of 45 Special Production for shooting the video and “bringing the concept to life visually”.

“The fans loved the video, the concept and everything, it was a vibe,” he said.

Keno4Star thoroughly enjoyed the production process. Few producers have the clout to bring two superstar names like Mavado and Valiant together, but Keno4Star has carved out a reputation for his fierce vision and tireless work ethic.

“I focused on melodic elements, and a vibe that would give the artists space to deliver powerful lyrics. Working with Mavado and Valiant was something I had been looking forward to, and it’s also a collaboration fans have been wanting to hear for a while because both of their voices bring a unique melody to the track,” he said.

Keno4Star said that both artistes penned their verses after hearing the beat.

“Everything came together very smoothly. They each brought their own perspective and personality to the record. My role as the producer was to shape the sound, guide the energy of the track, and make sure everything blended into one cohesive record,” he said.

The club banger is streaming on Apple Music, Spotify, SoundCloud, and Audiomack.

Keno4Star is known for the major hit singles such as Mavado’s Father God which has racked up 45 million views on YouTube, and 450’s Crawsis featuring Shaniel Muir with 34 million views on Youtube.

Other standout tracks include Mavado and IVoltage’s Never Go Win (19 million views), Silk Boss’ Sneaky Link and Jahvinci’s Affi Mek It (17 million views).
