No weapons allowed, traffic changes for JII meet
MEMBERS of the public who will be attending this year’s Jamaica International Invitational Athletic Meet at the National Stadium tomorrow are advised, that no firearms, knives, lighters, aerosol sprays, drugs, ice picks, machetes, umbrellas (walking stick type), glass bottles, frozen water or any other item that can be used to cause serious harm or injury, will be allowed inside the venue.

[naviga:li]No vending will be allowed outside the designated areas.[/naviga:li]
[naviga:li]No provision will be made for the storage of prohibited or restricted items at any of the venues. Licensed firearm holders are being advised to leave their weapons with the local police or make alternative arrangements for safe keeping.[/naviga:li]
[naviga:li]VIPs issued with invitations will enter using the gate E2 and park their vehicles on Statue Road, while officials, accredited media personnel and staff will enter through gate E10.[/naviga:li]
[naviga:li]Ticket holders will be directed to use the spectator’s entrance.[/naviga:li]

All members of the public are advised that persons entering the venues will be subject to search.
