Week.day, Imotionz score viral hit with ‘Pretty’
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Popular dancehall producer Week.day has another viral track on his hands.
This time, it’s Pretty by recording artiste Imotionz.
The two, who are from the same community in Linstead, St Catherine, have been basking in the global momentum over the last four days since its release.
“It’s always a good feeling when you put out work and the fans end up loving it. [I] love to see their different reactions and how creative they get with their content,” the producer told the Observer Online.
The song is on the Moonlight rhythm with the official music video shot and edited by Timevisualz.
Week.day also praised Imotionz for his talent and professionalism each time they team up.
“We have done a couple projects in the past. He has a song that I produced called Regrets which has over 300,000 streams, at the moment. It’s a good experience, he’s a talented artiste,” the producer continued.
Week.day is currently working on a new juggling with some top acts in the industry. He said his recipe to recurring success is fuelled by the passion he has for music.
“I’d say it’s because of the love I have for music and the drive I have. I’m always working and I’ll keep working until I’ve done enough work to ensure that I leave a great legacy,” he said.
