PHOTO: Desks, chairs for Dinthill
Students of the Dinthill Technical High School in Linstead, St Catherine, are in a happy mood as the school receives furniture from the New York Chapter of their alumni association. More than 200 desks and chairs were presented to the school at yesterday’s general assembly. Making the presentation to Principal Lloyd Fearon are former Head Girl Tracey Andrews (left) and Joan Buckley-Welch, both members of the New York Chapter of the Dinthill Alumni. The past students say US$8,000 from fund-raising events was used to purchase the furniture for the school. (Photo: Karl McLarty)
