SSL recently hosted a private investor briefing at the Terra Nova All-Suite Hotel to introduce the upcoming Caribbean Cream IPO.
Caribbean Cream, incorporated in 2006, is a manufacturer and distributor of ice cream and ice cream products under the “Kremi” brand. The company manufactures 20 different flavours of ice cream in three gallon, 1.5 gallon and quart sizes, as well as three flavours of ice cream cake. The company is also the Jamaican distributor of the “Flavorite” brand of frozen novelties from Trinidad. In facilitating and fostering future growth, the company said it intends to use the proceeds from a successful IPO invitation for increasing its production capacity and increasing its working capital for ongoing strategic initiatives.
Clarke grew up in the ice cream business. He is the son of Carol Clarke Webster, the managing director and founder of Scoops Unlimited Limited, the manufacturers of Devon House I-Scream.
