All the woofs about…
FORMER JTA president Doran Dixon came under public scrutiny for derogatory comments he made in response to education minister Ronald Thwaites’ announcement to cut some of the benefits that teachers enjoy.
He did so by using an analogy of a mongrel dog attacking the JTA. The JTA has since issued an apology for the comment.
However, Dixon refuses to apologise and is adamant that he did nothing wrong. To add fuel to the fire, in his address at the St Ann parish chapter’s annual meeting, he resurrected his views by using the chorus of the popular Baha men song, Who Let The Dogs Out.
teenAGE wants to know what you think about Dixon’s response to the situation. Is his defiance justified?
