Ruling in Blake dope case expected today
KINGSTON, Jamaica — The doping case against quarter-miler Dominique Blake will end today when the Jamaica Anti-Doping Commission’s disciplinary panel makes its ruling.
Blake, who is facing her second ban, tested positive for methylhexaneamine at the Jamaica Olympic Trials last year and now faces a lifetime ban after a nine-month suspension in 2006.
Blake, who finished sixth in the 400m at the national trials, represented the country at the IAAF World Indoor Championships in March last year.
