Bolt, Powell, Carter through to 100m finals

KINGSTON, Jamaica — Top seeded sprinters Usain Bolt, Asafa Powell and Nesta Carter all qualified easily for the men’s 100 metre finals in the senior national trials underway at the National Stadium in Kingston.

Bolt took semi final one in 10.02 seconds from Nickel Ashmeade 10.03 with Jason Livermore in third (10.21).

In the second semi final Nesta Carter ran 9.97 to beat Kemar Bailey Cole (10.02) and Asafa Powell (10.05) into second and third respectively.
