Chris Brown axes duet with Rihanna from his upcoming album

People Post

Chris Brown recorded a track with then girlfriend Rihanna for his latest album X, but now he reportedly wants it removed. The 24-year-old rap artist had been planning to include the song Put It Up that he sings with 25-year-old Rihanna, but now that their romance has cooled he isn’t so keen on it. Brown is apparently stalling the album’s release until he sees the combined musical effort cut from the track listing.

According to Billboard, Brown’s sixth studio album, X, is scheduled to be made available on July 16. “Record execs wanted that song on there, but Chris said he would rather not and wouldn’t allow the record to be released unless they took it off,” a source told Hollywood Life. “They’re still hoping to convince Chris or pay him more to change his mind because it would be a hit.

“The record hasn’t been pressed yet, so things can change, but at this point he’s not changing his mind.” Brown is said to have split with Rihanna earlier this month because she was “too needy” and wanted him to be with her “all the time”, the website reported.

No wonder she’s so trim! Kendall Jenner admits she doesn’t like CHOCOLATE

With her trim waist and long legs, it’s little wonder Kendall Jenner is finding such success as a model. And as she fronted a restaurant opening last Thursday night it was clear she has just what it takes to follow in her half-sister Kim Kardashian’s footsteps. The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star graced the red carpet of the Sugar Factory American Brasserie launch in New York City.

But it seems unlikely that Kendall will be tempted to over-indulge,for the teen star hates chocolate. Kendall shared a picture of the mouth-watering array of sweet treats dished up by the restaurant. But she added: ‘If only I liked chocolate … ahh, it looks so pretty!’

Just call me So-long! Solange Knowles shows off super-lengthy braids

In Cannes last month, Solange Knowles was rocking a groovy Afro, but now the singer has gone to new lengths with her hairstyle. Taking part in a photo shoot during her vacation in Croatia, Solange showed off her super-long braids as she posed in beachwear last Thursday. Pulled to one side, the 26-year old pulled her thigh-length locks over to one side, as though she was the goddess Venus emerging from the choppy waters.

As if to emphasise the mythical comparison, the mother-of-one wore a white lace tunic with golden cuffs on each arm and matching chunky hoops dangling from underneath. At one point Solange raised her arms up into the air and closed her eyes, as though revelling in the beauty of the Croatian scene around her, but sadly that image was corrupted by another beach dweller floating pretty close by to watch the events. Knowles then changed into another outfit, opting for a patterned blue kaftan that billowed in the wind as the shoot moved on to the stony beach of Bracu.
