Fennell returned as JOA president
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Mike Fennell won another four-year term as president of the Jamaica Olympic Association (JOA) yesterday, holding off the challenge of Don Anderson.
Fennell, who got 19 votes to Anderson’s 13, will have led the association for four decades if he completes the new term.
Vishu Tolan, president of the Jamaica Badminton Association defeated president of the Jamaica Football Association Horace Burrell for the post of first vice-president.
The new second vice-president is Molly Rhone, president of the International Federation of Netball Associations, who defeated Dr Warren Blake, president of the Jamaica Athletics Administrative Association.
Christopher Samuda is the general secretary and Compton Rodney, the treasurer.
