Tahj steals show at MegaJamz party
TEN-YEAR-OLD singer Tahj Reid, son of singer Nitty Kutchie, stole the show at MegaJamz 70s, 80s, and 90s evening held at the radio station’s Ballater Avenue office in St Andrew on Saturday.
Reid, who was part of the evening’s live performance segment, stole the show.
With a voice way above his age, he had the audience singing with an a capella rendition of OMI’s Cheerleader. He then brought females to their knees with a resounding rendition of soul staple When a Man Loves a Woman.
The evening also saw an introduction of the 25 contestants in this year’s Miss Jamaica World competition.
The rest of the evening featured rousing sets from the station’s stable of DJs such as Kevin Lewis and DJ Slick. Evening’s emcee was the energetic Diva Renee.
