Concert kicks off DREAM WEEK
CAYENNE Beach… Dream Live Concert, the first event in Smirnoff Dream Week, kicked off on Negril’s hip strip on Thursday.
The event saw several performances from top-shelf dancehall acts including Aidonia, Konshens, Baby Cham and I-Octane.
Taking the stage minutes after 1:00 am, Baby Cham had his fans in a musical trance. He delivered the
Babylon Bwoy, Doing it, Vitamin S and Ghetto Story, which were well received.
Aidonia quickly followed Cham’s performance.
The female patrons were only too happy to ‘strut their stuff’ to Six Thirty, Tip Pon You Toe and Back Up You Bumpa.
The male fans were not to be left out as they were treated to Bad Anyway, Evil Head and No Take Chat From No Bwoy.
The screams were deafening when Konshens’s voice emerged over the microphone. Females in the VIP section rushed to the front of the stage, some with outstretched arms hoping to touch the entertainer.
Among his set were Sidung, Gyal a Bubble, I’m Coming and Couple Up. He was later joined onstage by Delus, who performed What Tomorrow May Bring.
I–Octane brought the curtains down on an evening of performances. And as expected, lighters and spray cans were ignited to Lose A Friend, Badmind Dem a Pree, and Man A Suffer Too Long.
All eyes were glued to the stage as Octane entertained his fans for approximately 15 minutes.
Earlier in the night, performances also came from reggae acts Telflon and Bugle. Chris Martin thrilled his female fans with a string of love songs.
Prior to the performances, the sexy Smirnoff-branded females kept patrons entertained with their acrobatic, and oftentimes erotic dance moves.
Coppershot Disco, Crazy Neil and DJ Nicco kept the ‘massive’ dancing to their musical selections.
