Simon Cowell expecting a baby with married New York socialite Lauren Silverman

People Post

Simon Cowell is expecting a baby with New York socialite Lauren Silverman.

A close friend of Cowell told MailOnline that Lauren, who is technically still married to real estate mogul Andrew Silverman had revealed that she wants to marry the star just a few weeks ago.

Lauren and real estate mogul Andrew have been long friends with Cowell and have enjoyed holidays with him for the past few years.

But it wasn’t until Lauren and Andrew ended their relationship that her friendship with Cowell turned into romance, around a year ago.

A friend of Lauren’s told MailOnline: ‘Lauren loves Simon, she says that she wants to marry him. And with the baby, she’s going the right way about it! But I think this could be really good for Simon.’

Another friend confirmed the baby news and said, ‘Yes, all true’.

Lauren, 36, is said to be ‘around 10 weeks along’ in the pregnancy, according to Us Weekly magazine.

However, Cowell and Lauren’s situation is made more complicated by the fact that she is still technically married to Andrew.

The source told Usmagazine.com: ‘Lauren and Andrew have been unhappy in their marriage for some time, and their divorce has been in the works for a while. As their marriage deteriorated, she and Simon became close.’

Cowell, 53, and Lauren have been seeing each for at least a year, according to friends, and were even seen viewing houses together in Los Angeles earlier this year.

My, how you’ve changed!

Robin Thicke is unrecognisable as he shows off unruly long locks in retro photos with Paula Patton

He’s known today as the super suave singer behind smash hit tune Blurred Lines, but retro photos of Robin Thicke have surfaced, proving that the musician hasn’t always been so sexy.

A series of snaps taken in 2003 show the star rocking some long locks, instead of the clean-cut style he’s known for today.

As well as his unruly hair, Robin is also seen showing off a questionable dress sense and some dodgy facial hair in the decade-old photos.

The various snaps, taken during 2003, see the singer swapping his now signature blazer and white tee for some unbuttoned shirts and even a neck scarf.

The photos also show a 26-year-old Robin snuggling up to his gorgeous wife Paula Patton, who was then merely his long-term girlfriend.

Whilst Robin is looking less than suave, Paula proves that she’s always been a beauty.

We might be used to seeing the gorgeous model/actress flashing the flesh in her signature risqué ensembles, but back in 2003 Paula showed off a more natural and demure look.

So long, Posh Spice!

Victoria Beckham’s new collection is designed for intellectual women who ‘devour books and art and film’ and even wear SENSIBLE shoes

Judging by her big grin in the photo she posted on Twitter last Monday, Victoria Beckham is pretty happy – and she has reason to be. The designer has just launched her Autumn/Winter 2013 collection for Victoria, Victoria Beckham online.

With sharp lines and silhouettes, the clothes have a recognisable edge to them, but gone is the slinky femininity of previous efforts; this collection is far more masculine and subdued.

It’s a new aesthetic that shows Victoria’s earlier incarnations (remember Posh Spice’s exuberant style?) are far from mind. She recently admitted as much. At the catwalk presentation back in February she said: ‘I feel like the Victoria, Victoria Beckham girl this season is an engaged intellectual with a sense of humour.’

‘She can wear anything with aplomb, yet she chooses the simplicity of a dress. She marches rather than walks, she drinks espresso, and she devours books and art and film. And she is subversively sexy without trying. I’d like to meet her…’
