Fun and games
MANDEVILLE, Manchester — Members and guests yielded to the invitation of the Manchester Chamber of Commerce (MCOC) to “Come Let it Down” at the Manchester Golf Club last Thursday (October 17) after a day of work.
The annual social incorporated food, music and plenty of fun.
The entertainment package included karaoke, games and music including a performance from former Digicel Rising Stars contestant Tish Brown.
OJay Koolers, Superior Auto, Ricam Construction, and Merv’s Restaurant were among the sponsors that made the event possible.
Manchester Chamber of Commerce President Wendy Freckleton said that the social was an opportunity for people in business to meet and network in a challenging economic climate.
“It is important for members to come together in a setting where they can relax and network with each other, to develop friendships that will eventually enhance business in this economic climate. Other members of the business community were also invited to see how the Chamber operates. [This will] encourage them to join and strengthen the Chamber,” she said.
