Ardenne wins Week 5
IT was another close week of the Digicel Showdown High School Disc Jockey Competition, as Ardenne High faced off with Haile Selassie High School.
Ardenne won Round One (oldies), but Haile Selassie claimed Round Two (early juggling).
The school from off Spanish Town Road also won Round Three, the task round, which this week was R&B music.
Ardenne broke even in Round Four, the hype-up juggling round, and the decision came down to the final tune-for-tune Showdown.
The Ardenne Road-based school, despite not having as many supporters present, won that Showdown and move on to the next round of the competition.
The crowd was entertained by dancehall songstress Raine Seville and Magnum Kings and Queens alum Deep Jahi.
