Beyoncé ‘banned’ from Egypt’s Pyramids

She is adored by her millions of fans and has even earned the nickname Queen B.

But Beyoncé failed to impress the man known as Egypt’s Indiana Jones when she visited the country in 2009.

Zahi Hawass, Egypt’s former head of antiquities, claims he banned the singer from visiting the pyramids after her “stupid and rude” behaviour.

The star visited Egypt back in 2009 as part of her I Am… Tour, where she toured the pyramids with Hawass.

But according to the Huffington Post, the controversial archaeologist bad-mouthed the star to local reporters back then, allegedly calling her a “stupid person” who “doesn’t understand a thing”.

Now, in a new interview, Hawass, 66, claims the Love On Top singer arrived late for her tour of the ancient site.

“Most people I take on tours are very nice and we become friends. But this lady…,” the former minister of state antiquities told The Independent.

“She said she would come at 3:00 pm but she came late. I said, ‘You have to say I’m sorry I’m late’. But she didn’t open her mouth,” said Hawass, who is described as the ‘gatekeeper’ of the pyramids.

The last straw came when Beyoncé’s photographer allegedly almost hit Hawass.

“I brought a photographer and she also had a photographer and a guard. When my photographer started to shoot, he said ‘No, Stop! I am the one who says yes or no, not you!'”

“I said: ‘In that case since you almost hit my photographer and you are not polite – out! I am not giving you the privilege of having you on my tour!’ I said Beyoncé was stupid and I left.”

Lady Gaga unveils her bizarre Japanese GAGADOLL

One Lady Gaga is enough for most people, but fans were treated to three of them last Wednesday when the outlandish star posted a bizarre new shot on Twitter.

Lined up on a sofa it’s hard to discern the real thing from her two lifelike doppelgangers, as Gaga – that’s her in the middle – shows off the remarkable new listening stations devoted to her music and ideology.

The 27-year-old singer is currently in Japan while she promotes third album ARTPOP, and she’s given some of her time to the Japanese creators of the new GAGADOLL.

Intricately constructed from a bone conversion system, the music player enables the user to listen to her latest album in its entirety by placing an ear to its heart.

It also includes messages from the star, whose promotional campaign for ARTPOP is taking her across the globe.

In a tweet added to the latest shot on her Twitter account she writes: ‘Who needs barbies when you can own your own life size pop star that sings to you #gagadollz.”

Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon celebrate Thanksgiving with the twins

They’ve recently had to brush off rumours that they’re living increasingly separate lives.

And Mariah Carey, 42, and her 33-year-old husband Nick Cannon couldn’t have looked closer in a snap she shared on the eve of Thanksgiving via her Instagram account.

The couple posed in front of a stunning Manhattan vista with their two-year-old twins Moroccan and Monroe and a big bowl of pecans.

The diva hashtagged the picture with the words: “Family prepping time! Pecan pie, Thanksgiving” and linked it to her husband’s account.
