LIME offers epic party
AS the ‘Champs’ fever heightens, official telecommunications sponsors of the ISSA/GraceKennedy Boys’ and Girls’ Athletics Championships, LIME, will be looking to give the school with the most supportive fan base an all-expense paid ‘Epic Event’.
On Wednesday, February 12, 2014, the telecommunications company opened the text line for its ‘Epic Event, The Ultimate BBQ’ competition, where LIME customers are encouraged to vote in order to give their favourite schools participating in ‘Champs’ a chance to win.
Included in the package is top class entertainment, décor including a performance stage and high-tech lighting as well as full catering services.
Stephen Miller, sponsorship manager says, “This gesture will enable the winning school to host a fund-raiser wherein the full profit made can be dedicated to a development project within the institution.”
He also highlighted that many schools rely on like fund-raisers to finance a variety of projects, but are often faced with the struggle of sponsorship and donations and often having to deduct from the funds raised to foot expenses.
LIME is encouraging students, PTAs, alumni and supporters of each school to text the full name of their school of preference to 444-4204 to receive the code assigned to their own school followed by sending the code to 444-4204 for entry. Votes are billed at $15 per text.
Lucky voters can also win LIME mobile credit daily, weekly prizes of Alcatel Idol Minis, Nuqleo tablets and Champs tickets or the voting grand prize of a Play Station 4 which will be rewarded to the highest voter.
Voting for this competition ends on March 21, 2014.
