Business House domino final today
THE final of the 2014 National Association of Domino Bodies (NADB) Kingston & St Andrew Region/Wray & Nephew White Overproof Rum Business House League will take place today at the National Housing Trust (NHT) Official Car Park, scheduled to begin at 6:30 pm.
Defending champions Seprod Limited will get the chance to defend their title when they take on the 2014 knockout champions Kingston Wharves in the Division One final.
Meanwhile, in Division Two, it is a clash between two powerful banks as National Commercial Bank (NCB) will go up against Bank of Jamaica (BOJ).
Seprod Limited, after losing 108-116 to their opponents in the second round of the group stages in the tournament, returned to beat Kingston Wharves 118-111 in the sixth round and will start favourites to repeat as champions, but cannot take the KO champs lightly as they are also playing well.
It should be a straightforward win for NCB as they are the more dominant team of the two coming into the final. But both teams will automatically advance to the higher division for reaching the final.
The winning team in the Division One final will walk away with $30,000, and the loser will receive $20,000, while the winner in Division Two will get $25,000, and the loser $15,000.
In last week’s semi-final result at the same NHT Official Car Park venue, Kingston Wharves whipped Gleaner Company 152-125, and Seprod Limited defeated Berger Paints Jamaica Limited 124-110 in Division One.
In the lower division, NCB blanked Ministry of Finance 146-111, and BOJ got the better of Pepsi-Cola Jamaica 149-143.
