Scotia on top in Business House Netball Leagues
SCOTIABANK ‘A’ look unstoppable as they have won all their seven matches in the 2014 Business House Netball Association (BHNA) combined Senior ‘A’ and ‘B’ Leagues competitions.
The former Senior ‘A’ League champions, coached by Winston Nevers, lead the combined division with maximum 21 points, and with three games remaining for the bankers, they have already qualified for the play-offs.
Meanwhile, the other teams in contention for a place in the three-team play-offs at the preliminary rounds are Scotiabank ‘B’ with 15 points from seven matches, Transport Authority of Jamaica on 15 points from seven games, and Jamaica Broiler’s with 15 points from six matches.
For today’s fixtures, Scotiabank ‘A’ will play Digicel Jamaica at 5:30 at St Andrew High School for girls.
Other Senior ‘A’ and ‘B’ Leagues matches on are Grace Kennedy vs Jamaica Infrastructure Operators (JIO); Scotiabank ‘B’ vs Jamaica Broilers; Wisynco ‘A’ vs Transport Authority at 7:00 pm at St Andrew High School; Jamaica Urban Transit Company (JUTC) vs Sagicor Life Jamaica at Jamaica Public Service Sports Club, Ruthven Road.
In other divisional league games also to be played today, National Water Commission (NWC) vs Facey Commodity; Bank of Jamaica (BOJ) vs Jamaica National; Petroleum Corporation of Jamaica (PCJ) vs Financial Services Commission (FSC) at 4:15 at St Andrew High School Courts.
LIME Jamaica vs Guardian Life; Wisynco vs Housing Agency of Jamaica (HAJ) at 5:30 at St Andrew High School Courts; Industrial Commercial Development (ICD) vs HEART/Trust NTA at 4:30 at Jamaica Public Service Sports Club.
Meanwhile, Bank of Jamaica and Guardian Life are joint leaders in the Intermediate ‘A’ League section with 15 points from six games each, with LIME Jamaica in third with 12 points from seven matches.
XEROX Limited lead the Intermediate ‘B’ League with 18 points from seven matches with National Housing Trust (NHT) ‘B’ in second place with 13 points, and Sagicor Life Jamaica in third on 10 points.
Norman Manley International Airport (NMIA) lead the Junior League with 16 points from six outings, followed by Facey Commodity with 12 points from five starts, and Housing Agency of Jamaica with 12 points from five starts.
