Like A DIVA

Your Under the Dryer glam squad knows how much you love convenience — so we found it all wrapped up in a chic package of virgin hair, make-up and the latest fashions at Minxes by Jessica Taylor and Quanna’s Hair Salon & Extension Bar, both on Constant Spring Road, Kingston. The two establishments are situated right next-door to each other: perfect for when you want a day of pampering at the salon complete with some retail therapy without breaking a sweat. Inspired by the fabulous lives and looks of style icons like supermodel Naomi Campbell, reality star Kim Kardashian and actress Kerry Washington, we dropped by Minxes and Quanna’s for a true diva experience.

What We Loved: Virgin hair extensions, trendy clothes at Minxes; professional hairstylists for weave installation and care at Quanna’s Hair Salon & Extension Bar.

First stop is Minxes by Jessica Taylor, the clothing, make-up and accessories store, for a fabulous new outfit and good-quality extensions. Take your pick from a wide range of Malaysian, Cambodian, Brazilian and Peruvian virgin hair bundles. Then, try not to let the sun set while you browse the latest fashions until your shopaholic senses tingle indicating the perfect find. Once your outfit and hair bundles are literally in the bag, step into the experienced hands of Quanna’s stylists to install and style your extensions, and get your make-up done on request while you relax. You don’t need to be a celebrity to treat yourself like one — or even look like one. Check out our celeb-inspired diva transformations courtesy of Minxes and Quanna’s with outfit ideas to try for the upcoming holiday season.
