St James High register back-to-back wins
HOLLAND, Trelawny — St James High won back-to-back games in the Under-16 section of the ISSA Western Conference high school boys’ basketball competition after hammering winless Holland High 72-5 at Holland.
It was the second time in a row that St James surpassed the 70-point mark after beating Muschett High 73-43 a week earlier, while it was the second time Holland High were held to just five points.
Three players scored in double digits for St James High, who moved to third place in the points tables on eight from five games as Cornwall College lead with 11 points, just ahead of Herbert Morrison who are on 10 points from five-straight wins.
Trey Brown scored 23 points, had 12 rebounds, seven steals, and three blocked shots, Aaron Allen scored 16 points and had eight rebounds, while Romario McFarlene scored 12 points in the win.
