Muschett seek to extend perfect basketball record
WAKEFIELD, Trelawny — Former champions Muschett High will seek to extend their perfect win record in the Under-19 section of the ISSA Western Conference High School Basketball competition this afternoon when they take on winless Holland High in a return-round game.
Muschett High lead the Under-19 section with eight points and should win again today against a Holland team that have lost all three games.
The teams will be meeting for the first time in the Under-19 section after their first-round game was abandoned after reports that a visitor with “Ebola like symptoms” was in a nearby hotel.
Muschett had won the Under-16 game 33-10, their only win so far and should win again today.
Meanwhile, Cornwall College will seek to repeat their first-round double win over Spot valley when both meet at Spot Valley High.
Cornwall had won 75-25 and 84-17, respectively, in the first round and their Under-19 team has lost two games in a row and will be hoping to snap that skid.
