Lutan Fyah’s bash for Saturday
Roots singer Lutan Fyah’s Birthday Bash takes place tomorrow at Sanguinetti Sports Complex in Clarendon.
Helping him celebrate his ‘earthstrong’ is an impressive line-up of acts including Ninjaman, Popcaan, Busy Signal, Jah Mason, Luciano, I Wayne, Kabaka Pyramid, Iba Mahr, Bushman, Nature, Admiral Tibet, Richie Spice, Aidonia, Jesse Royal, Munga, CP INK and Rootz Revealers.
“We want to give patrons the best possible line-up every year. With a line-up of this calibre, I am sure the patrons are going to have a great time, they are in for a musical treat,” said Lutan Fyah.
A former architecture student at the University of Technology and National Premier League player with the Constant Spring Football Club, Lutan Fyah emerged from the Spanish Town sound system circuit with songs such as Fire in The Barn, Streets of The Ghetto and Speak Softly.
Typical of Jamaican roots acts, he tours Europe regularly.
Lutan Fyah (given name Anthony Martin) has released 13 albums to date. His latest set, Ged Rid a Di Wicked, was released this year.
