Three Dominican referees appointed as FIFA officials
ROSEAU, Dominica (CMC) — A referee and two assistant referees have been included in Dominica’s list of FIFA officials for 2015.
Referee Rhomie Blanc and assistant referees Shawn Lester McDonald and Caesar Gabriel have joined assistant referees Nehron
Williams and John Durand to complete the list of five for 2015.
President of the Dominica Football Association (DFA) Glen Etienne encouraged the new FIFA officials to remain on top of their game in order to stay on the FIFA list.
“Your achievement here today, especially for the first-timers, is a big step,” Etienne told Dominica’s new FIFA officials during a ceremony in Roseau.
“However, be reminded, that this big step is only a small step in the bigger scheme of things.”
The ceremony was also attended by Dominica’s retired FIFA referee, Carlisle Jno Baptiste, who reached FIFA retirement age in 2013.
