UWI Western Campus to host two-day Open House

MONTEGO BAY, Jamaica – The University of the West Indies, Western Jamaica Campus will host its annual Open House this week on January 12-13, featuring campus tours, financial aid guidance, programme information, and much more. The event is free and open to the public.

The aim for this year’s event is to attract prospective students, familiarise them and their parents with facilities, and to open informal communication channels between school staff, students and parents. The activities for the two days will include CAPE workshops, seminars, and campus tours.

Special workshops on financial aid and career opportunities will be available. Classrooms and labs on the campus will be open for viewing. As a special bonus, there will be an application centre on campus for prospective students who are interested in submitting applications.

The UWI WJC believes the event will provide the perfect opportunity for anyone considering enrolment or interested in finding out what programmes are on offer and the qualifications for entry.
