Pree Dis
Michaela Leeanna, a former psychology student at the University of the West Indies and upper sixth form student at St Jago high school, Kejon Bonnick, are the new faces driving the popular weekly entertainment show, Pree Dis.
Michaela took over as main host following the departure of long serving presenter Joel ‘Kruddy’ Harrison last year, who migrated.
“I’m very happy to be a part of the Pree Dis journey and I look forward to contributing in a positive way, to this growing brand,” Michaela said.
Michaela is a former host of Nite Lyfe, which aired on CVM TV.
Bonnick, a member of the St Jago High Manning Cup team, made his debut on Pree Dis three weeks ago with the informative feature ‘Safe Sex Tip of the Week’.
“Kejon is a star in the making. He was brought to our attention by one of his school mates Adrian Samuda the deputy head boy at St Jago and we decided to integrate him into the show as a segment presenter,” Pree Dis executive producer Kevin Jackson explained.
Pree Dis began airing locally in 2010. It is shown on Flow TV channel 100 and on HYPE TV.
Outside of Jamaica, Pree Dis airs New York, Toronto, the UK and in over 15 Caribbean countries.
Said Jackson: “We are confident with the new faces and so far the viewers have been pleased. Just look at our social media pages, we have gained lots of followers over the past few months.”
“We have a lot of new features coming up on the show as we consistently revamp and tweak the content to keep the viewers entertained,” Jackson added.
