Singer I’Candy has teamed with dancehall artiste Assassin aka Agent Sasco for the single Bombshell. It is the first single from her upcoming EP.

Bombshell is produced by Matthew ‘Esco’ Thompson for Starstruck Records.

“Bombshell is just a taste of what is in store when the EP is released. The idea for the song came about in a time when there is so much emphasis on the ‘booty’ and it being very well proportioned in size. This is a song for women of all shapes and sizes to celebrate their bodies and ‘bums’,” said I’Candy.

She wants the public to be the judge of the single, and based on the response a video may be in the works.

Last year, I’Candy received rave reviews for a single Hot Gal Anthem and accompanying video.

But one of the singer’s most ambitious projects from 2014 was being a featured performer in the LIME MVP Christmas campaign, which also featured dancehall artiste Konshens.

“This opportunity came about as a result of the efforts of JJ Foote of Advertising and Marketing as well as VP of marketing at LIME, Carlo Redwood, who invited me in for a meeting regarding the campaign. Soon after I was told I had been selected for the campaign, for which I was very grateful. I was able to build a relationship with them and their team, and it also gave me added exposure,” said I’Candy.

As a member of the songwriting team Bloodline, I’Candy has co-written songs for international acts including Wisin & Yandel featuring Jennifer Lopez Follow the Leader, which went to number one on Billboard’s Latin chart and won a BMI Award; Christina Aguilera Around the World; and Nicole Scherzinger Say Yes.

She recently performed at the Blue Mountain Music Festival in Holywell, St Andrew.
