Christoff Bryan cops Ja’s 3rd gold at CARIFTA 2015 Games
KINGSTON, Jamaica — Jamaica’s Christoff Bryan equalled the high jump record of 2.21m to secure gold in the Boys’ U-20 High Jump final at the 2015 CARIFTA Games now underway in St Kitts.
Bryan’s gold is the third for Jamaica after Devia Brown took the girls’ U-18 Discus Throw title and Akeem Kerr copped the gold for the Boys’ Pole Vault Open event yesterday.
Shyledeen Smith secured second place in the Girls’ U-18 Discus Throw for Jamaica’s first silver medal of the 2015 Games.
Outstanding sprinter Michael O’Hara and intermediate hurdler Jaheel Hyde are also down to compete today.
