Be prepared to be taken back in time — circa 1850 — as you sit on the edge of the Black River bank, and watch the small boats and fishermen exhausted from crab hunting. Please come without a watch, a cellphone or computer as it seriously shatters the tranquility.
Arriving by boat is a lot more romantic but it’s Gloria’s delicious, stuffed crab back that will keep you coming back. Don’t waste your time asking Gloria to share her secret spices. She won’t!
