Waves Beach in Portmore, St Catherine was certainly the place to be last weekend, as Drifters Entertainment held the party Mügs: The Kooler Cooler Fete. Choice musical selections were provided by Fatalic Sounds, Laing D and Coppershot’s Supastylez. teenAGE got a chance to speak with a few individuals involved in the event’s execution:
The event got off to a late start, but the pace eventually picked up. The openness of the venue contributed greatly to the buzzing party atmosphere. Some patrons chose to enjoy the sea view, taking pictures and making videos for their social media pages. The majority, however, chose to dance and chat with friends in merriment.
Such was the effect of the party that even after it ended, a few patrons decided to host a mini after party in the parking lot. When the dust had settled,
Co-founder and director of operations at Drifters Entertainment, Adrian Swaby stated that,
“A good party is about a communion of people feeding off each others energy. Thus creating an overall vibe with laughter tingling in the air. It felt good giving that to the people. Now that it’s over, I would only want to do it again.”
Co-founder and head of promotions at Trifecta Events, Christopher King Junior shared,
“Mügs was the place to be [last Sunday]. The vibe was right, music selection was on point, females in abundance and the coolers were out and packed. Trifecta Events had a blast. It’s good to be partnering with such a successful group as Drifters Entertainment. We’re definitely looking forward to the next Mügs.”
Evidently, Drifters Entertainment did a good job with Mügs. If you are 18 and over, chances are you and your friends would enjoy their next event.
