Tastee and Tropicana are hosting the first big family event of the summer, with Family Fiesta today (June 28) at Hope Gardens.

The event is slated to be a fun-filled day of activities for the entire family.

The gates opened at 10 a.m, with the children having access to a variety of rides including Dora bounce, mechanical bull, game arcade, and water slide. There will also be patty eating and Tropicana drinking competitions.

The afternoon session will see a concert being staged, hosted by the ‘energizer bunny’, Jenny Jenny. The concert will feature various guest performers; the main guest artiste being powerhouse vocalist, Ikaya.

Throughout the day there will also be a variety of display booths, including a Tropicana drink station.

To gain admission, Tastee had a ‘Family Fiesta special meal’ that when purchased, would see the purchaser getting a ticket that would give the holder free admission as well as access to four rides free of cost. For those of you who were unable to get a ticket sooner, don’t worry. You can get your tickets at the gate.

Family Fiesta is the ideal event for the entire family to hang out and have fun.
