The Campion College Alumni Association (CCAA) hosted its inaugural fund-raising mixer at Countryside Club Thursday, last, to pay it forward to the next cohort of Campionites.
Dubbed Chillin’ ‘n’ Grillin’, the all-inclusive soiree — sponsored by Select Brands and Rainforest Seafoods, and which doubled as a wine-pairing shindig — was aimed at garnering financial assistance for current students in need.
Coming on board was a no-brainer for Rainforest Seafoods Marketing Manager Roger Lyn, who saw the event as “a contribution to a noble cause and an opportunity to market our products”.
Other culinary delights included catered fare from a trio of top chefs — newly-minted Jamaica Observer Table Talk Food Awards Best New Caterer Awardee Alexa Von Strolley; Jamaica Pegasus Hotel Executive Chef Mark Cole; and Rainforest Seafoods Executive Chef Everol Ebanks.
Premium wine and beer selections came from Select Brands.
