Port Antonio Primary cops Region 2 Maths Competition
PORT Antonio Primary recently copped the top award in the Ministry of Education Mathematics Competition when they defeated the St Thomas-based Yallahs Primary 53 to 38 at the Regional Office at Passley Gardens in Portland.
Ebhana Powell who organised the competition said this will help the students to sharpen their mathematics skills and develop the love and discipline to do the subject.
“The students and teachers were enthused as this is the start in a series of competitions,” he said, adding that all the finalists received certificates of participation.
