Hottraxx

A compilation of this week’s hottest songs

Salute teenATION generals and lieutenants everywhere, we hope you guys have been enjoying your summer thus far. Special shout outs to all our teenAGErs out there being productive by holding down the summer jobs this year. Whether its volunteer work or you’re getting paid remember to do your best, make a good impression and learn as much as you can from the experience.

But back to the matter at hand, it’s time once again for your weekly dose of the top 10 hottest local and international song that we just can’t get enough of in this week’s Hottraxx. And now the lists:Local List:1 On Fleek– Alkaline- Moving into the top spot this week is controversial dancehall artiste Alkaline with On Fleek. Alkaline as usual, has found himself in the midst of controversy as it relates to his trademark tattoed eyes. Pictures have surfaced on social media depicting the artiste without his iconic optic tattoos, giving rise to the question as to whether or he truly went through with the procedure or was it just contacts….hmmm.2 Pressure– Vybz Kartel- Slipping into the second place spot this week is Vybz Kartel with Pressure. Kartel is currently the artiste with the most songs on our top 10 local charts.3 Text Message– Busy Signal- Holding on to the third place spot this week is Busy signal with Text Message. The upbeat track has been a staple for party playlists everywhere this summer.4 Tip Fi Di Strip– Tifa5 Way Up– Popcaan- Rounding out our top five for this week is Popcaan with Way Up.6 Dancehall– Vybz Kartel7 Never Sober– Popcaan8 Keystone– Vybz Kartel9 Fling It Anywhere– Kalado10 Inna Real Life– VershonInternational List:1 All Eyes On You– Meek Millz Ft Nicki Minaj and Chris Brown- In the #1 spot this week is rap’s hottest couple Meek Millz and Nicki Minaj with All Eyes On You. The YMCMB rappers are quickly becoming a formidable power couple in the music industry with couple having a net worth of approximately $56 million …talk about young money.2 BBHMM– Rihanna- Rihanna continue to push the boundaries and create waves in the music industry through the recent release of the music video for her monster hit BBHMM. The video was seven minutes of fierce, edgy, hardcore Rihanna which had us on the edge of our seats, and accountants everywhere watching their backs. All we can say is whoever has Ri Ri’s money needs to hurry up and give her back because this girl obviously doesn’t play around when it comes to her cash.3 Slow Motion– Trey Songz- Even though Trey has a rough year ahead of him, with his second album release for this year and upcoming solo tour, the R&B singer still shows that he has the time to slow it down in his hit Slow Motion off the Trigga: Reloaded album. Earning him the third place spot on our list this week.4 Back it Up– Prince Royce ft Jennifer Lopez and Pitbull- Moving up into the fourth place spot this week is Prince Royce with Back It Up. The song that is said to have Caribbean influence is definitely the hot track for the summer.5 Loving You– Trey Songz ft Ty Dolla $ygn- Round out the top five for this week is Trey Songz with Loving You6 The Night Is Still Young– Nicki Minaj7 Fun– Pitbull ft Chris Brown8 Lil Bit– K Camp9 Nasty FreeStyle– T Wayne10 Emergency– Icona Pop
