Massive Marlin Catch
MASSIVE MARLIN CATCH

Massive Marlin Catch

Fishermen who operate from the Fisherman’s Beach in Ocho Rios, St Ann were in for a big surprise when they went out for their early morning catch on Monday. Ricardo Harris and Odane Ford said they were fishing when they hooked the marlin. According to Harris, he wrestled with the massive marlin for almost an hour, hurting his leg during the encounter, before he was successful in hauling in the fish. The fish was 11 feet, two inches long and was estimated to weigh over 400 pounds. In photo Harris (kneeling at right) and Ford (left) with other fishermen view their catch of the day.
