A Charitable Dinner
Attorney-at-law and rising politico Alando Terrelonge dispatched invitations for a Mediterrean dinner at Opa! Greek Restaurant last Sunday night that served a philanthropic cause: raising funds for an inner-city feeding programme for primary-aged students attending schools within the East Central St Catherine constituency for which Terrelonge is caretaker.
For the evening billed ‘In Vino Veritas’, the guest list of 50, relished forkfuls of Grecian cuisine between copious sips of Caribbean Producers Jamaica-distributed bottles of Baron de Philippe Rothschild Cabernet Sauvignon and Sauvignon Blanc, while lending their ear (and for some, monetary support) to addresses from the host himself, Opposition Spokesperson on Education & Youth Kamina Johnson-Smith, and Gregory Park Primary Principal Richard Williams, and supporters who endorsed the charity initiative.
