Hottraxx

Our playlist this week

Hottraxx- August 25-August 31

Salute teeNation music lovers! It’s time once again for your music updates in this week’s Hottraxx. But before we get into the meat of the matter just have to send major shout outs and respect to the King and Queen of Sprints, Usain Bolt and Shelly- Ann Frasier-Pryce for their amazing performance in Beijing, China and respect to all the athletes on the team bringing Jamaica to the world and making the small but powerful sprint nation proud.

But back to the reason we are all here it’s time again for the top ten Local and international song ranking in this week’s Hottraxx.

Local List:

1.

Ghetto People – Chronixx

Moving into the number one spot this week is Chronixx with his new hit

International List

1.

Wildest Dreams – Taylor Swift

In the first place spot on the international list this week is

Wildest Dreams by Taylor Swift. We all know that Taylor is a talented artiste. I mean girl can sing, girl can write her own lyrics, but more importantly girl knows how to put on a show. Tay Tay recently made history this week for having the most sold out performances at the Staples Center Arena in Los Angeles. She also released a steamy teaser video for

Wildest Dreams that has Swifties going mad with anticipation.

2.

Drag Me Down – One Direction

In second place this week is British Boy band One Direction with Drag Me Down but I wonder if we should start to call them four directions as the band has announced that they are taking a year break, the news did not sit well with directioners all over the world as social media flooded with videos of fans breaking down and emotional tweets saying that the end is near. But the band has said that they are only taking the year to look into the prospects of solo projects and will be back to performing as a unit once the period is over.

3.

Back Together – Robin Thicke Ft Nicki Minaj

Moving into third place this week is Robin Thicke and Nicki Minaj with

Back Together. The upbeat song has currently over 3 million views on YouTube and is said to be yet another attempt of the

Blurred Lines singer to win back his estranged wife Paula Patton, the pair split in the summer of 2013 an he’s been trying to get her back ever since… Got to give him points for being determined.

4.

Around the World – Natalie la Rose ft Fetty Wap
