The Princess Royal visits RJR
KINGSTON, Jamaica – The Princess Royal, daughter of Queen Elizabeth II, stopped by the RJR/Television Jamaica (TVJ) headquarters on Lyndhurst Road in Kingston a short while ago.
Sources say that she was at the media house to observe one of the talk show programmes.
This morning, soldiers could be seen along the roadway as their colleagues escorted the princess onto the grounds of the media house.
The princess greeted students from the Citizen’s Advice Bureau/RJR Basic School, who were gathered on the grounds, before making her departure.
Following her session at RJR, she is expected to stop at the Mico Teachers’ College then move to the Jamaica Defence Force’s Up Park Camp headquarters where she will tour the museum and meet with Chief of Defence Staff, Major General Antony Anderson.
