We sang the praises of our Jamaica Observer Table Talk Food Awards judges for the parish of St Ann. Andrew and Lucy Salm all the way back to Kingston. This after a fabulous late afternoon into early Sunday evening at Bamboo Blu.
Mammee Bay Estate, Mammee Bay St Ann is the gateway to Bamboo Blu. First things first though, a pass needs to be collected from the security at the main entrance. The entrance to Bamboo Blu requires you digesting a very long list of don’ts. Breathe! The beach forms part of the Estate and, yes, the second guard was not as pleasant as the first, but let’s be honest: the minority often makes things bad for the majority! Once inside however, the staff, ambiance, food, rafting and personalised bonfire moment will ensure several return visits.
