Matthews gets NCB promotion
NADEEN Matthews is to assume the senior management role of chief digital and marketing officer at NCB as of November 1. As chief digital officer, she will drive the digital transformation across the NCB Group of Companies.
Matthews will continue to lead the bank’s marketing & communications and enterprise information management functions; and she will also remain as CEO of the NCB Foundation.
Matthews joined NCB in 2010 as assistant general manager for strategy, and then senior assistant general manager for strategy, marketing and communications in 2013.
Prior to NCB she worked as a senior associate at global consulting company McKinsey and Company from 2007 to 2010. She was also a summer financial management associate at Citigroup in New York in 2006 and was an assistant vice president at JPMorgan Chase from 2001 to 2005.
Matthews holds an MBA in marketing and entrepreneurship from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and a BSc from Binghamton University (a part of the State University of New York) in financial economics and Spanish.
Macfee and Neita answer higher callings
MARK Macfee is now president of Global Directories, a directory publisher and digital media solutions company that has offices throughout the Caribbean and Central America. Mark Macfee joined Global Directories in 2009 as executive vice president and was later promoted to CEO and board director in 2014.
Prior to that he was executive vicepresident for Cable and Wireless where he started in 1987, and was CEO for Cable and Wireless for the North and East Caribbean from 2001 to 2008. He started his career at KPMG in London where he worked from 1978 to 1987.
“I am honoured to lead the strategic vision for Global Directories, as we identify new frontiers geared towards improving the value we offer to our customers, consumers and colleagues,” Macfee said in a news release.
Macfee holds an FCA from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales and a BSC from the University of Wales in the UK.
Meanwhile, less than six months after joining the company as its business development director, Ian Neita has been promoted to chief executive officer. Neita will lead the development of new products and services across all 16 markets.
The past ATL general manager served in several senior capacities and brings more than three decades of leadership skills combined with a passion for customer and excellent track record for driving growth.
“These are exciting times for Global Directories and I look forward to the challenges and opportunities of leading the most dynamic transformation in the company’s history,” Neita said in the news release.
