Hear the Children’s Cry now member of global network
KINGSTON, Jamaica – Hear the Children’s Cry (HTCC) today announced that they are now a member of the Global Missing Children’s Network.
This membership marks the first of its kind for Jamaica and the Caribbean.
The announcement was made at a press conference being held by the child lobby group at the Jamaica Yellow Pages, to discuss how this new development will help Jamaica and the region with its efforts involving missing and abducted children.
HTCC also launched their website, which will feature missing children and regular updates as to the status of each child.
Betty-Ann Blaine, child advocate and founder of HTCC, said a feature of the programme will allow Jamaica to join the company of countries and participate in the network’s conference in Singapore in December, 2015.
More information later.
