Worm Bass (Ink)
Known for his high-energy performances on stage, the popular bass player is promoting his upcoming album, Reggae Man, as well as Ink, an anti-vote single.
Also self-produced, Ink takes aim at Jamaican politicians.
“Mi always watching dem (politicians) an’ what dem dealing with is corruption an’ lie. Is dem same one a gi the youths gun an’ a call the police pon dem,” the dreadlocked Worm told Splash.
He added: “This song is saying, ‘Watch out ’cause dem coming again’.”
Worm, who will be in the United States for the next two months promoting Reggae Man, is unlikely to be in Jamaica when elections are called.
He has never voted and that stance will not change.
“The system need change but is not my vote going to change it.”
