MONTEGO BAY, St James — Faulkland FC will make their St James Football Association Sandals/ATL Senior League debut this afternoon when they take on former champions Violet Kickers at Jarrett Park.

Match time is 3:00 pm.

Faulkland FC, who won the Division One title last season, their second successive promotion, got off to a flying start by knocking off two Western Confederation Super League teams on their way to the semi-finals of the Captain’s Bakery and Grill Knockout.

Violet Kickers, who are a long way from their heyday in the mid-1990s when they won two Premier League titles in three years, were demoted from the Western Confederation Super League last season, winning just one of 22 games played.

Violet Kickers were also beaten 4-0 by Reggae Youths in their Captain’s Bakery and Grill KO second-round game.

Also today, Seba FC and Marl Road will meet at the UDC field, while Norwood FC and Lilliput Rovers will face off at Albion.

Last season Seba FC and Marl Road drew 1-1 in the lone meeting between the teams.
