RR puts twist on Forever
Forever, recorded by newcomer RR, has been getting some love on radio over the past few weeks. Now, a remix featuring deejay Bay-C has been released. The song is produced by UIM Records.
‘The concept behind the song was directed to be an uplifting mellow club joint that would have you living in the moment. Bay C made contact with me and expressed his appreciation for the song. He felt a remix would further propel and give the song another sound. The producer was open to the idea and we made it happen,” said RR.
RR had previously done collaborations with Sizzla and Mavado. She said Forever is opening doors for her locally and internationally.
RR emerged on the music scene in 2014.
She has done work with producers including Anju Blaxx, Frankie Music, Christopher Birch, Dre Day, Kirky Shines, Steam Worldwide, Quik Keys, and Mineral Boss Records.
“As a female entertainer, I class myself in my own league. I have a unique sound that’s refreshing to hear and I’m an all-round performer. I devote myself to work on any weakness and to train my voice in keeping in tune with my sound,” she told Splash.
RR has theatrical training and is a principal dancer of the Dance Theatre Xaymaca.
She is known for songs such as Crazy in Love (the remix features Mavado), Dat Yuh Wah (featuring Sizzla), Gimmie Dat, Turn it Up, Bad Inna Bed, Talk, Right Now featuring Javada, Grown and Sexy featuring Stephanie Wallace and Good for You.
